Howdy, Parade Fans!
Get ready to boot scootin' boogie and put on your boots and hats as we're "STILL COUNTRY" this year with our theme for the 9-day festival and our Grand Parade.
You can look forward to a wonderful and spectacular Grand Parade, which will convert the center of Lehigh Acres into one giant hoe down. The parade will start as in previous years promptly at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2008 and will wind down Homestead Road between Beth Stacey Boulevard and Arthur Avenue.
I am also pleased to announce that the Grand Marshal for the 37th annual Lehigh Spring Festival parade is
our own DEBBIE JACKSON Make sure to cheer her on and show how much she is loved for all of her hard work in the community.
The judges tent and emcee's will be located in front of the SunTrust Bank on Homestead Road. If you are part of the parade, make sure to put your smile on and impress the judges. And if you are watching the parade, simply enjoy the always cheerful and funny comments from our emcees, Danny Stephenson and
Vicki Culver. But don't worry, there are plenty of great spots along the parade route to catch the action!
I sure do hope that you'll join us at the park after the parade to enjoy the rest of your fun and sun filled day with friends and family over some great food and drinks and great entertainment.
